Why our Akawi product?
Visitors to our plant in Plana have been admiring the high quality and especially the hand processing of Akawi cheeses for many years. There is no doubt that the share of foreign markets of highly valued handicrafts is considerable.
The hands of workers will touch every bun of Akawi cheese, which 2000 tons is made by hand here. Each of them is wrapped in canvas before pressing, thanks to which there is a clear decal of the fabric and seams on the loaves of cheese. Akawi is a popular delicacy, especially in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, where Madeta has been exporting it for decades. Quality control system (HACCP), IFS Food Certificate, version 6 , Veterinary control and certification of every shipment.
