Cardamom
Cardamom, often referred to as the "queen of spices," is derived from the seeds of plants belonging to the Elettaria and Amomum species, both of which are part of the Zingiberaceae family. This aromatic spice is primarily cultivated in regions such as India, Guatemala, Sri Lanka, and other parts of Southeast Asia. The plant produces small, green or brown seed pods, which contain the highly fragrant seeds that are harvested for culinary and medicinal use.
