Chickpeas
The chickpea belongs to the legume family and is a seed extracted from the pods of the plant.
They have a characteristic appearance, unique among legumes, well identified by their color, rounded shape and wrinkles.
Chickpea varieties can be Desi, Gulabi, Kabuli, with marked differences between them.
Some of the common uses of the chickpeas can be to prepare hummus, hamburgers, in salads, stews and as flour for the preparation of dough.
