COCONUT OIL
White coconut oil is a pure, unrefined coconut oil that is made by pressing fresh coconut meat and then extracting the oil through a natural process. It has a distinct coconut aroma and flavour and is high in medium-chain fatty acids. Adamjees produces white coconut oil for both the domestic market in Sri Lanka and exports to multiple countries. It is available in both bulk and retail packaging.
RBD Oil (Refined, Bleached, and Deodorized) is made by refining, bleaching, and deodorising crude coconut oil. It has a neutral taste and aroma and is often used in cooking and baking due to its high smoke point.
Traditional coconut oil made from copra (dried coconuts) is a time-honored culinary and cosmetic product with deep cultural roots. Copra is obtained by drying coconut meat, and the oil extracted from it holds a rich, nutty aroma and a distinct flavor that has been cherished for generations.
Whole kernel virgin coconut oil is a variant closely related to normal virgin coconut oil (VCO), produced through a similar process, yet with a slight distinction. In the case of whole kernel VCO, the coconut meat is crushed along with a small amount of the inner skin before extraction. This results in a product with a slightly higher iodine value and a delicate yellow hue to the oil, while still maintaining the natural coconutty taste, aroma and health benefits of VCO.
