Sultana Raisin Grade-9
Sultana raisins are processed by an alkaline solution and are then naturally dried up by sunlight. They are categorized into five types: No. 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11. The color of sultana can vary from darkest (No.7) to Lightest (No.11) because of the specific treating processes they go through. Type & Size: Seedless Raisin, Moisture around 12 – 14%, RTU, Jumbo, Standard, Medium, and Small Grades, Laser sorted, X-RAY scan Shelf Life: 24 months, has to be kept in cool and dry conditions away from direct sunlight Usage: Snacks, trail mix, cakes and cookies, sweets, jam, syrups, compote Packing: 5, 10 & 12.5 kg cartons are the most common.
