Maison Marie Brizard and Roger was founded in 1755 in Bordeaux by Marie Brizard herself, the first French woman master liquorist. Agile and boundless, she created this company at a time when women were not even allowed to sign documents. She was a free and independent mind. She never got married. Above all, she was fully dedicated to her art : selecting, distilling & blending the best ingredients, to create the best liqueurs.
