Canned foods from our Minerva brand, one of Portugal's most traditional brands, have been produced at the A Poveira canning factory (Frinsa Group) in Póvoa de Varzim, north of Porto, since 1942, standing out for their superior quality and diversity of flavors and recipes. They produce their canned foods manually and in an authentically traditional way, always using fresh seasonal fish and the highest quality ingredients. From Greco-Roman mythology, MINERVA, goddess of excellence and wisdom, gives her name to A Poveira's gourmet brand, conveying its values: quality and excellence.
