Mantinga is one of the largest food industry companies in the Baltic States. Nearly three decades ago, what began in Lithuania as a small innovation jokingly called “bread bricks” has grown into a globally recognized producer of bread, snacks, and frozen bakery products. Today, Mantinga exports to almost 50 countries and continues strengthening its international presence. In 2024, the company expanded by opening new branches in Poland and the Netherlands and preparing further growth in Asia. This development shows how strong regional expertise, combined with the philosophy “Think globally, act locally,” can become a powerful advantage in global markets. Mantinga operates four modern factories with a production area exceeding 62,000 square meters. From these facilities, the company supplies the Baltic and Scandinavian regions as well as distant destinations such as Japan, Korea, and the United States. With flexible bake-off solutions, Mantinga supports retail, wholesale, and HoReCa partners in improving efficiency and standing out in competitive environments. From Baltic Leader to European Market Player Mantinga aims to become one of the leading companies in the European frozen bakery segment and eventually grow into a global brand. To achieve this, the company is actively expanding its presence across key markets. After establishing strong positions in the Baltic States and Ukraine, Mantinga opened two new divisions this year: one in Poland, where it had long worked with local agents, and another in the Netherlands, where it acquired a trusted partner that now operates as part of the group. The company is also developing opportunities in Asia. Mantinga has entered the Indian market and is negotiating broader partnerships in the region. “Our priority is long-term partnership and mutual growth based on trust, responsibility, and knowledge sharing,” says Mantas Agentas, CEO of Mantinga Group.
