Aljouf Agricultural Development Company (JADCO), one of Saudi Arabia’s most prominent agri-industrial producers, has announced a strategic partnership with Polysense, a Belgian technology company specialized in AI driven quality inspection and process optimisation for the food industry. The collaboration marks a key step in JADCO’s digital transformation roadmap and strengthens its commitment to innovation across its French fries production operations. Through the partnership, Polysense will deploy Polysense Qualify, an in line, vision based quality control system that measures length distribution and surface defect levels at production speed. By automating inspection and delivering objective, data backed results, the system reduces manual sampling and brings a higher level of consistency and accuracy to the quality control workflow. At JADCO’s facility, the implementation will enable real time, precise measurement for every fry, removing subjectivity from manual checks and ensuring consistent quality across batches. AI driven insights allow early detection of process drift and raw material variation, supporting faster decision making and reducing downtime. With rapid defect detection improving efficiency, throughput, and first pass yield, the system also enhances traceability by time stamping results and linking them to batch and SKU information.
