CCL rolls out UK's Percol Brand in India to push beyond mass-market Coffee
CCL Products has introduced Percol—a UK-origin premium instant coffee brand—in the Indian market to meet rising demand for quality, flavourful, sustainably sourced coffee. Built on decades of heritage and ethical sourcing ethos, Percol is positioned at the upper end of the instant coffee segment, offering a differentiated alternative to traditional mass-market options.
The initial Indian range includes three meticulously crafted medium-roast variants: Da Essenza, a blend with cinnamon and star anise notes; Espresso Noir, delivering dark chocolate and subtle oolong character; and Intenzo, a smooth, medium-bodied brew with refreshing peppermint and clove accents. Each blend preserves flavour and aroma while avoiding the bitterness often associated with darker roasts.
Targeted at younger, urban consumers who increasingly appreciate black coffee and complex profiles, Percol is being rolled out through selective premium outlets, e-commerce and quick commerce platforms, with an experience-led marketing approach focused on sampling and engagement.
