Gulfood 2026: Consorzio Italia del Gusto brings the best of Italian cuisine to international markets
Consorzio Italia del Gusto will take center stage at Gulfood 2026, the world’s largest international trade fair dedicated to the food sector, to be held in Dubai from 26 to 30 January 2026. With more than 120 participating countries and thousands of exhibitors, Gulfood represents a leading global platform for the food industry and a unique opportunity to strengthen the visibility of Italian products and promote the excellence of Italy’s gastronomy worldwide. An international showcase for Italian food excellence Consorzio Italia del Gusto, which brings together a selected group of producers and brands that are emblematic of the Italian gastronomic tradition, will be present with a dedicated stand where visitors will be able to discover a wide range of typical products, from dairy specialties and cured meats to fine wines and extra virgin olive oils, as well as pasta and high-quality regional preparations. The presence of Consorzio Italia del Gusto at Gulfood 2026 takes on particular significance following the official recognition of Italian cuisine as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This prestigious acknowledgment celebrates the inestimable value of Italy’s gastronomic tradition and the global importance of its products. The Dubai trade fair thus becomes a privileged showcase to highlight Italian cuisine and further consolidate its leadership position in international markets. “Our participation in Gulfood is a unique opportunity to showcase and promote high-quality Italian products on a global scale. With the Dubai fair, we aim not only to strengthen the presence of Made in Italy around the world, but also to celebrate the recent recognition of Italian cuisine as UNESCO Heritage, a historic milestone for our country,” said Giacomo Ponti, President of Consorzio Italia del Gusto.
