Born in Chengdu, Chef Dingxu Ren brings over 21 years of international culinary experience, having honed his skills in top-tier kitchens across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Dubai. Chef Ren is highly skilled in Cantonese, Shanghainese, and Sichuan cuisines, with additional experience in Western cuisine. Yet, his true passion remains his native Sichuan cuisine, celebrated for its bold, spicy flavors and innovative techniques. Under Chef Ren’s leadership, Hutong seamlessly blends tradition with innovation.
