ean Stoll is the Global Head of Protein at Maersk, where he leads the company’s efforts in one of the largest and most strategically critical logistics sectors worldwide. With over 27 years of experience in the shipping industry, 18 of those focused on refrigerated cargo and 12 dedicated specifically to protein logistics, Jean brings deep expertise in cold chain operations, market strategy, and commercial leadership.
Jean is responsible for developing and executing Maersk’s global protein strategy, overseeing the largest protein logistics region in the world. His role includes driving market intelligence, navigating global supply and demand dynamics, and shaping Maersk’s value proposition for major protein-exporting and -importing regions. He maintains close relationships with key protein producers, processors, and trading companies globally, enabling Maersk to align its services with evolving industry needs.
Prior to his current role, Jean spent seven years at P&O Nedlloyd, where he built foundational experience in international shipping and logistics.
Throughout his career, Jean has been instrumental in expanding Maersk’s cold chain capabilities and strengthening its position as a trusted partner to the global protein industry.
