Khalid AlJarwan AlShamsi currently serves as Vice President of Commercial & Corporate Services at Dubai Chambers. Leveraging more than two decades of experience, he leads Dubai Chambers' commercial services to ensure the organisation continues to play a pivotal role in enhancing Dubai's favourable business environment.
As part of his mandate to drive business growth, AlJarwan is responsible for the smooth operation of membership services, the facilitation of essential trade documents, and a comprehensive range of business support services. In addition, he oversees the chambers' human capital, legal, administrative, and finance functions and promotes a climate of institutional and customer excellence.
Prior to joining Dubai Chambers, AlJarwan held leadership roles in several government and private sector institutions, including positions ranging from executive management to chairing the boards of directors at companies operating in diverse industries.
AlJarwan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Tulsa University, USA, and has successfully completed the 'Orchestrating Winning Performance' programme from Switzerland's International Institute for Management Development (IMD).
