Laura Lukasik is a capital translator for food systems in emerging markets, operating at the intersection of agriculture, finance and innovation. She is the Founder and President of Numen Bio, where she designs investable regenerative portfolios that function as scalable food and climate infrastructure—structuring contracts, governance and data to connect capital with farmers and unlock last-mile finance.
With over 20 years of experience across Latin America and Africa, Laura has worked with farmers, corporations, investors and governments to de-risk investment, improve execution and generate risk-adjusted returns in complex environments. She previously founded and led Latin America’s first AgTech startup focused on agricultural risk management and held senior leadership roles in multinational organizations.
A strong farmer advocate, she collaborates with farmer organizations across the Global South and is Co-Founder of the Rural Women’s Network, with a long-term commitment to empowering women and younger generations.
