JACA is an industrial group that focuses on policy-making in the cellular agriculture field with 50+ member companies and academia. JACA communicates with ministries, politicians, consumer organizations, and various companies and works as the "Cellular Agriculture Working Team" of the Food-tech Public-Private Council under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries. Megumi is one of the advisors of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s strategy to promote bio-manufacturing industry. Megumi is awarded Forbes Japan 30 Under 30 in 2020.
