Nina Métayer
Nina Métayer is a renowned pastry chef who has garnered accolades such as World Pastry Chef 2023 by the International Union of Bakers and Confectioners (UIBC) and World’s Best Pastry Chef 2024 by the World’s 50’s Best. Trained in pastry-making at École Ferrandi in Paris, she went on to work at various prestigious establishments, including Le Meurice, Le Raphaë, Le Grand Restaurant (which was awarded 2 Michelin stars six months after opening), among others around the world.
In 2020, Chef Nina inaugurated her first patisserie, initially 100% digitalized, at delicatisserie.com. Her recipe book La Délicate Pâtisserie, published in 2021 by Éditions de La Martinière, is now a reference work. She is also recognized for being part of prestigious juries and being on TV shows.
Her other distinctions include Knight of the Order of Agricultural Merit 2024 and Knight of the National Order of Merit 2023. These accolades highlight what Chef Nina considers the most important about pastry-making: emotion and the awakening of the senses.
