Australia
Olympia, the founder and CEO of Goterra. With a relentless commitment to innovation and sustainability. Olympia designed and commercialised the world's first decentralised, autonomous, insect farms. This technology is now deployed across Australia processing resources onsite, where waste is created. She designed the Australian Federal Governments Insect Protein regulatory framework and was a pivotal member of the working group that approved insect protein for livestock feed in Australia. Olympia’s technology is reshaping not just the agricultural landscape but also how we imagine the future of food waste management. Her work has been recognised globally in Agricultural and insect protein industries and the CSIRO has identified a recently discovered species of Soldier Fly in her name.
