Dr. Prabodh S. Halde, Ph.D. (Food Technology), is a distinguished authority in food safety, global regulations, and public policy with 30 years of industry experience. Currently serving as Head – Global Regulatory, Public Policy & Advocacy at Marico Ltd, he has been a driving force in shaping food standards and compliance for nearly two decades. He has worked for Coke India for 8 years and 3 years with ACC Agro tech.
A past President of AFSTI (CFTRI Mysore) and an influential voice across CII, FICCI, IBHA, and other industry bodies, Dr. Halde chairs the Western Region of AIPFA and holds leadership roles in SEA of India and PFNDAI. He has represented India eight times at Codex Alimentarius and participated in global policy dialogues, including a PMO delegation to Tajikistan and the US State Department Leadership Program.
An accomplished author of 16 books, including the bestseller Accidental Food Technologist, and creator of five motivational titles (Prabodhika series), Dr. Halde is a LinkedIn Top Voice in Food Industry. He mentors over 200 startups, serves on academic boards of leading universities, and has trained 6,000+ food safety officials under FSSAI’s FoSTaC program.
