Ramzi Stephan is the Senior Franchise Director for the Gulf at PepsiCo, overseeing the company’s beverage franchise operations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman. With over 17 years of experience in FMCG, he leads the commercial and operational direction of PepsiCo’s franchise partners, ensuring sustainable growth and stronger system capability across Gulf markets.
Ramzi has spent more than a decade at PepsiCo, holding progressive leadership roles across the Middle East and North Africa. Before assuming his current role, he served as Franchise Director for the Gulf, where he shaped market strategies and supported the expansion of PepsiCo’s beverage portfolio during a period of accelerated consumer change in the region. Prior to that, he managed PepsiCo’s franchise business in Algeria and Morocco as Franchise Manager and later Senior Franchise Manager, where he focused on expanding distribution and strengthening in-market execution across both markets.
Earlier in his tenure, Ramzi served as Operations Manager for Lebanon, Syria, and North Africa, where he worked closely with bottling partners to enhance execution and operational discipline across diverse and rapidly evolving markets.
Ramzi began his FMCG career at Procter & Gamble, serving as Operations Manager for the Middle East and Africa. He started his professional journey as a Mechanical Engineer at Petrofac before transitioning into commercial and operations leadership roles.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
