Sebastián Popik is the Founder and Managing Partner of Aqua Capital. He has 17 years of experience in private equity focused on agribusiness, food and logistics and a comprehensive operational approach to value creation. He is the Chairman of the firm’s Investment Committee and chairs the Boards of several of firm’s portfolio companies. In 2021, he was selected among the 500 Most Influential Latin American Businesspeople by Bloomberg (he previously founded) and was a consultant for Booz Allen & Company in Latin America. He holds a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidad de San Andrés.
