Sharon Cittone is a global systems leader working across food innovation, climate resilience, and public health. Recognized by Forbes as one of the most powerful women shaping the future of food, she is the CEO and Executive Director of the Milan Longevity Summit and the Founder and CEO of Edible Planet Ventures. She also hosts the FoodTech Junkies Podcast.
Sharon serves on the Advisory Board of World Food Programme Italia, sits on the World Agriculture Forum Council, and is Vice President of BrainCircle Italia, a founding board member of AgrifoodTech Italia and the Complementary Protein Alliance. She mentors emerging innovators through Rockstart Agrifood, the EIC Scaling Club powered by Bpifrance, Open Food Chain, 4Ward VC, and advises several investment funds. She also serves as the G100 Global Chair for Food Innovation.
In academia, she teaches in the agrifood and sustainability program at the European Institute for Innovation and Sustainability (EIIS).
