Mr. Brown Coffee
Our story begins in 1982, Taiwan. Taiwan was predominantly a nation of tea growers and drinkers at the time, steeped in centuries of Chinese and Japanese tea-drinking tradition. Our founder, Mr. T. T. Lee, however, with a keen eye on the West, foresaw the rise of a very different kind of beverage — coffee.
Mr. Lee introduced his very first coffee drink to the market. The timing was explosive and triggered the birth of Taiwan’s coffee-drinking culture. The iconic mascot of Mr. Brown mirrors the image of a South American figure adorned in a suit and fedora hat, paying homage to the region where a significant portion of early coffee beans originated. "Brown" holds a dual significance, conjuring both the character and the rich, warm hues of coffee.
