Embark on a journey through history at the Wesel Mill, an enduring symbol near the Luznice River. Built in 1594 by Petr Vok from Rozmberk, adorned with Renaissance gables marking 1613, it witnessed the resilience of Veselí during the Thirty Years' War. Reborn in 1672, architect Jakub Antonin de Maggi and miller Ondřej Žižkovsk breathed new life into it. Since 1759, the Charvat family enriched Veseli's legacy, electrifying the city in 1911. After prospering through nationalization and socialist enterprises, VESCO s.r.o. took ownership in 1995. Today, the Wesel Mill stands as a living testament to centuries of history, innovation, and community resilience – an integral part of Veseli's narrative. Today the Mill VESCO processes quality food grain - wheat and rye, which we buy mainly from local growers. The products consist of all types of wheat and rye flours of high quality, which we produce according to the customer's requirements.
