Bestfriend Goodies (BFG), based in Mindanao, Philippines, was initially a food souvenir producer but strategically pivoted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Led by Nenita Tan, BFG now specializes in producing a variety of ready-to-eat (RTE) products. Recognizing the importance of addressing SDGs 2 and 5, BFG serves essential clientele such as the Department of Education (DepEd), Local Government Units (LGU), and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). The company has received support from institutions like the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), reinforcing its commitment to quality and innovation. BFG's mission revolves around providing a 'taste of home' through products developed with a focus on health, nutrition, safety, quality, stability, and convenience. Looking ahead, BFG aspires to expand sustainably, reaching new markets and supporting its vision of fostering well-being and a sense of home through its diverse offerings.
