The Minex factory was established in 1969 as a state-owned company in the former Yugoslavia in the city of Ferizaj. At first the main process was processing peanuts. After a short time it started with the production of Flips, Biscuits, Salty Sticks, Ice Cream, Coffee and the number of employees reached over 300. From the beginning it aimed to offer the customer high quality products and soon became one of the leading suppliers. After 2010, Minex managed to be the leader in the Kosovo market for the sale of Biscuits, Flips, Peanuts and Salt Sticks. Minex exports to many countries such as: Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Italy, Norway and Libya. The slogan of the Minex Factory is "Taste that will not be forgotten".
