Peeter Pihel
One thing that has probably shaped Chef Peeter and his views on the world and my work is his roots, based in Saaremaa. It's a privilege having been born and raised on an island, he quotes. It's a way of life, which reflects in his cooking as well. Having led the kitchen of Pädaste Manor, that has been rewarded the best restaurant in Estonia in four consecutive years, he resumed his journey and moved on to Fäviken Magasinet – one of the best restaurants in Sweden.
He has now returned to Estonia where he has founded Fotografiska Tallinn, a restaurant with a sustainable philosophy. The Fotografiska team is committed to always providing good, sustainable food according to the season. The creative food and beverage team is always striving to find something special that creates a sensation on every plate and in every glass, without having to worry about the footprint of that pleasure. “Good, sustainable food not only delights people it also delights our planet”, quotes Chef Peeter.
