Phil has spent the last 15 years working in operations and management roles across the UK, Europe and the Middle East and now heads up YF’s Supply Chain consultancy team in London, where he helps innovative, high-growth consumer businesses achieve mainstream scale. An industry expert and regular keynote speaker, he began his career as a consultant at PwC before moving to Tesco where he spent several years in Grocery Home Shopping, leading the 'Perfect Order' proposition for the international business. Phil moved into hospitality and food-tech, scaling Zing Zing – a Chinese takeaway concept – and then becoming Kitopi’s UK Managing Director a position, he held until their UK-exit in 2020. After helping a number of restaurants and food delivery companies navigate the pandemic, Phil joined specialist consumer goods consultancy YF in 2022 where he and his team support SMEs with all manner of operational challenges, including the end-to-end outsourcing of their supply chain. He also works closely with international brands looking to expand their business into the UK and EU, and provides insights to investors and retailers in the industry.
