Rehana is a passionate retail professional with 15+years of proven experience in Omnichannel Retail Operations, Project Management and Learning & Development.

After completing her Masters in Business Administration in Marketing & Operations, she started her career with Spencer’s Retail Ltd., a multi-format food retailer in India, where she learnt the basics of retail and developed a passion for the industry.

She moved to U.A.E. in 2010 and joined the Food Retail vertical of Choithrams as Functional Training Manager for G.C.C. and set up Choithrams Academy, an incubation centre for Training @ Source at universities and colleges, in addition to various other training initiatives. In 2013, she was promoted as Project Implementation Manager responsible for rolling our major projects in Retail including SAP Retail, Retail Restructuring & Clustering Project, and Business Intelligence for Retail. She moved to Operations vertical in 2016 and today heads Choithrams Retail Operations in the U.A.E.

With an omnichannel approach, her role as Operations Head – Retail includes managing brick & mortar store operations, e-commerce sales channel management including Choithrams.com, multiple thirdparty online marketplace operators, supplying to third party dark stores and Business to Business (B2B) business model; integrating various channels to optimize efficiencies and deliver a profitable and market trend driven sales strategy.

In additional to her professional role, she also speaks at industry events & conferences, drawing new insights on Retail trends from her experience over the years. She takes keen interest in continuously driving her team to higher performance as a coach and mentor
