All Gulfood confirmed exhibitors are welcome to apply to the awards free of charge through the Exhibitor Portal.

Be sure to select the award category you are entering in the form.

Judging Criteria

In addition to relevance to the criteria the prejudging of the nominations will be based on:

  • Innovation / Originality / Advancement in the Segment
  • Efficiency / Cost Reduction
  • Health & Environment
  • Customer Centric

Important Information 

Rules of Participation

  • Participation is free.
  • Only Gulfood confirmed exhibitors are entitled to participate in the Awards.
  • Exhibitors can enter multiple categories, however, each category would need to be completed on a separate online form.
  • Entries can be from a brand new product/innovation, re-launch of an established product or launch of an innovative initiative
  • Entries of products launched/re-launched strictly from January 2019 onwards.
  • Entries need to be submitted only through the official Exhibitor Portal online. Entries sent via email will not be accepted.
  • Participants are responsible for uploading product information, images and videos themselves. This data will be used to generate an online register of participants and for promotional purposes as per the discretion of the organisers.
  • Judging will be done online by an esteemed jury of industry experts based on the information shared on via the submission form. There will be no physical judging of products.

Marketing & Information 

The Gulfood Innovation Awards logo and related assets will be available for download and can be used by all competing companies in their marketing activities. Winners and finalists will receive media coverage and promotional tools including a Gulfood Innovation Award Winner / Finalist logo to use on their collateral and website for the following year, and maximize the benefits of the globally recognized Gulfood brand.
