Big Deal Hub – Facilitation & Platform Use Terms

1. Role of DWTC as Facilitator

1.1 Dubai World Trade Centre (“DWTC”) operates the Big Deal Hub solely as a technical platform and facilitation service to enable introductions, meeting arrangements, and communication between buyers and exhibitors participating in Gulfood 2026.
1.2 DWTC does not participate in, influence, supervise, or control any commercial discussions, negotiations, pricing, decisions, or agreements between buyers and exhibitors.
1.3 DWTC does not act as an agent, broker, advisor, guarantor, representative, or intermediary for either party. No legal relationship is created between DWTC and the buyer or exhibitor in respect of any commercial dealings.

2. No Verification, Endorsement, or Warranty

2.1 DWTC does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the identity, capability, compliance, financial standing, product quality, product safety, certifications, legal status, or any representations made by exhibitors or buyers.
2.2 All due diligence, checks, verifications, and assessments relating to commercial, legal, regulatory, financial, technical, or product-related matters remain the sole responsibility of the buyer and the exhibitor.
2.3 DWTC provides the Big Deal Hub “as is” and makes no warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, performance, merchantability, fitness for purpose, or availability.

3. Limitation of Liability

3.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, DWTC shall not be liable for:

(a) any no-shows, cancelled or rescheduled meetings, delays, changes, or failures by buyers or exhibitors;

(b) any interrupted access, technical issue, downtime, system error, or platform malfunction;

(c) any failure of a negotiation, opportunity, or transaction to progress or materialise;

(d) any reliance placed on information uploaded or provided by exhibitors or buyers;

(e) any loss arising from product quality, delivery, safety, regulatory compliance, payment disputes, or contractual terms between buyers and exhibitors.

(f) For setting-up any onsite concierge meetings. Any Premium Buyer purchases made onsite will only be permitted to lounge access and no concierge services.


3.2 DWTC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, business interruption, or loss of opportunity, arising out of or connected to the use of the platform or the facilitation services.

4. Responsibilities of Buyers and Exhibitors

4.1 Buyers and exhibitors are solely responsible for all negotiations, commercial decisions, pricing, contracting, regulatory compliance, documentation, payments, delivery, and fulfilment.
4.2 Each party is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, including trade, import/export, food safety, product certification, and data protection requirements.
4.3 DWTC shall have no involvement in disputes between buyers and exhibitors. Any such disputes must be resolved directly between the parties.

5. Permitted Use of the Platform

5.1 The Big Deal Hub is provided exclusively for buyers to source, evaluate, and place purchase orders for products and services offered by participating exhibitors.
5.2 Buyers may not use the platform to promote, market, solicit, advertise, or sell their own goods, services, or solutions.
5.3 Users may not upload inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, offensive, or unauthorised content.
5.4 DWTC reserves the right to suspend or restrict access to the platform for misuse or non-compliance.

6. No Agency or Partnership

6.1 Nothing in these terms shall create or imply any partnership, joint venture, principal-agent relationship, employment relationship, or other form of legal association between DWTC and any buyer or exhibitor.

7. Acceptance of Terms

7.1 By accessing or using the Big Deal Hub, buyers confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
7.2 These terms form part of and must be read together with any applicable DWTC event terms, programme guidelines, policies, or platform rules.
